We are currently in the middle of writing the Year 8 course in Geography in line with the suggestions for the Revised Curriculum. The new course and materials will be rolled out over the year.

The first topic is Where am I? It focuses on local knowledge and leads students into an understanding of local places through the study of maps at different scales. Students need to develop their individual map skills so that they can find and recognise local features.

There is overlap with other personal studies in both History and Home Economics.
