This year in Geography you have to complete 2 ICT tasks. These tasks are part of your ICT education at Slemish College and you need to make sure that you do your very best to produce a final piece that you can be proud of. Your teacher will talk you through the details of the task and will telll you what the final deadline for the piece of work is.
Key Task: Produce a movie and publish it to a website
Description of the task:
The topic chosen is Global Warming. the focus of the task is to produce a movie for a TV advert that challenges people about the impact of Global Warming on a local scale.

The Year 10 ICT Global Warming Film Competition (Coming soon)
Every student in Year 10 needs to create their very own final film. You will then upload these to an external website where we will take a look at the films and one film from each class will be shown at a very special Geography film festival where the Geography teachers will decide which film is the overall winner and the person who made the film and their class will both get a special prize.
Every year 10 student should note that they must complete this activity as this ICT task is part of your ICT education and this will form the basis of your ICT comment on your summer report.
