This year in Geography you have to complete 2 ICT tasks. These tasks are part of your ICT education at Slemish College and you need to make sure that you do your very best to produce a final piece that you can be proud of. Your teacher will talk you through the details of the task and will telll you what the final deadline for the piece of work is.

The topic chosen is Global Warming. the focus of the task is to produce a movie for a TV advert that challenges people about the impact of Global Warming on a local scale.
Teacher Planner for the tasks!
One of the big problems with moviemaker is that you need to keep all of the music, pictures, video etc in the same place on your computer until you have finished the whole project. If you don't - the next time you open up your documents all you will see are some big X's and your film will not play properly. When you save the project you are really just saving the box that holds all of the different bits and pieces of media that you are using. When you think you have a finished movie or you want to save stuff to work on at home - you should use the save movie option. Choose a title and a quality of picture for your movie and then save it. It should save the movie to your desktop.
How do you know if you movie is finished and saved properly?
1. Your file should have .wmv added on to the end of its name
2. Your file icon should look like this
and NOT like this
Use this file to help you to upload your video to Schoolstube.com
